Hours of Operation

Charlene's Angels Adult Day Center is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. These times are subject to change. A written notice will be given to clients' families at least two weeks in advance if the need arises to change hours.

A copy of the Adult Day Service yearly calendar (August-July) is provided at the time of enrollment in our program. An updated document is given to each client before the start of the new calendar year. We want you to know it is your responsibility to keep informed of the days the program is closed.

Policy & Procedures for Acceptance of Services in the Event of a Waiting List

FSSA Direct Service Workforce Investment Grant

Charlene's Angels have been fortunate to receive a Direct Service Workforce Investment Grant.
Direct Support Workers (DSWs) strive to create a caring environment for the growing population of persons with disabilities. With the increasing amount of disabled individuals, there is a demand for community-based services like Charlene's Angels. The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) is supporting our workers by providing enhanced wages and benefits through strategic investment in Medicaid reimbursement.

FSSA is issuing Charlene's Angels funding to support our direct service workforce. We plan to use the funding in the following way to invest in our DSWs:
To provide immediate support to our support staff, we plan to issue bonuses to Direct Support Workers. We will issue the bonus beginning in February 2023. Employees can expect to receive funding through Accupay. Timing-wise, our goal is to use the funding as soon as possible to provide immediate funding to support our workforce. We are aiming to spend all funding by October 2023. Please contact Alana Swain with any questions regarding how the funds will be spent.
